A Department of Transportation worker, 26-year-old Andrew DiDomenico of Meriden has been killed after being struck by a car while working on I-91 in Wallingford. DiDomenico was working on the shoulder of the ramp on the southbound Exit 13 Wharton Brook Connector around 9 a.m. when an intoxicated driver struck and killed him.

Andrew DiDomenico, a 26-year-old Department of Transportation worker from Meriden, tragically lost his life while carrying out his duties on a fateful morning on I-91 in Wallingford.
