Adreanna Lewis, 35, was found dead in the early hours of Thursday morning after a shooting on Hollowell Avenue in Goldsboro.

Adreanna Lewis, aged 35, tragically passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning, following a shooting incident on Hollowell Avenue in Goldsboro. 

Adreanna's sudden and untimely death has left her family, friends, and community in a state of deep sorrow and shock.

Born on June 4, 1989, Adreanna was a vibrant and compassionate individual known for her radiant smile and warm personality. 

She grew up in Goldsboro, where she attended local schools and was an active member of her community. 

Adreanna graduated from Goldsboro High School in 2007, where she was a dedicated student and a talented athlete, participating in both basketball and track.

Adreanna had a passion for helping others, which led her to pursue a career in nursing. She attended Wayne Community College, earning her degree in nursing in 2011. 

Her nurturing spirit and dedication to her patients made her a beloved nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital, where she worked for over a decade. 

Colleagues and patients alike admired her professionalism, empathy, and commitment to providing the best care possible.

Beyond her professional life, Adreanna was a devoted mother to her two young children, Aiden and Ava. 

She cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was helping with homework, cheering at soccer games, or simply enjoying family movie nights. 

Her children were the center of her world, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with a loving and supportive home.

Adreanna was also actively involved in her church, where she was a member of the choir and participated in various outreach programs. 

Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her.

Her sudden passing has left a void that cannot be filled. Adreanna's legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on through the many lives she touched. 

She is survived by her parents, James and Linda Lewis; her siblings, Michael and Sarah; her children, Aiden and Ava; and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Baptist Church, where the community will gather to celebrate Adreanna's life and honor her memory.
