Jackson David Parker, Obituary, Death: Tragic Heavy Work Truck Accident Claims the Life of 25-Year-Old Fayetteville Resident on Monday Evening Near Sivertsen Road and Halltown Road.

Jackson David Parker, a beloved 25-year-old resident of Fayetteville, tragically lost his life in a devastating work truck accident on Monday evening. 


The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sivertsen Road and Halltown Road, just north of Autryville. Jackson was known for his vibrant personality and his dedication to his work and community.

Born on June 12, 1999, Jackson grew up in Fayetteville, where he attended Fayetteville High School, graduating with honors. 

He was known for his infectious laughter and his passion for helping others. Jackson was deeply involved in community service, often volunteering with the Clement Fire Department, where he formed strong bonds with his fellow firefighters.

Jackson's love for trucks and mechanics led him to pursue a career in heavy vehicle maintenance and operation. 

At the time of his passing, he was working as a dedicated mechanic for a local construction company, where his expertise and dedication were highly valued by his colleagues.

In his spare time, Jackson enjoyed exploring the scenic beauty of the Fayetteville area, particularly the parks and hiking trails along the Cape Fear River. 

He was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular love for baseball, and could often be found cheering for the Fayetteville Fireflies.

Jackson is survived by his loving parents, Sarah and Michael Parker, and his younger sister, Emily. 

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the entire Fayetteville community, who remember him as a kind-hearted young man with a zest for life and an unwavering commitment to those around him.

The funeral service to honor Jackson's life will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral in Fayetteville, with visitation scheduled for Friday evening and the funeral service on Saturday morning. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Clement Fire Department in Jackson's memory.
