Chrisney, IN - Sandra "Sandy" Louise (Seitz) Haste, 81, of Chrisney, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at The Waters of Rockport. Sandy was born in Evansville, Indiana, on April 12, 1943, to the late Robert and Mary (Crow) Seitz.
Throughout her life, Sandy was known for her dedication and hard work, particularly in her role as an office administrator for Spencer County Co-op.
Her efficiency, attention to detail, and warm personality made her a valued colleague and friend to many in her professional community.
Sandy had a deep love for the outdoors, and two of her favorite pastimes were golfing and fishing.
She found great joy in the tranquility of a fishing trip and the camaraderie and challenge of a round of golf.
These activities were not only hobbies but also sources of peace and happiness for Sandy, allowing her to connect with nature and her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Scott Jeffrey Seitz, and her sister, Lois Gayle Hoss.
Their memories remained close to her heart, and she cherished the times they spent together.
Sandy is survived by her sister, Mildred Ann Feldbusch; her brothers, Donald E. Seitz, Jim H. Seitz and his wife, Mary, and Gary W. Seitz and his wife, Jennie. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly for her kindness, wisdom, and the loving presence she brought to family gatherings.
Sandy's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will endure.
Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought into their lives.
At this time, there will be no services. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana, has been entrusted with the care of arrangements.
