The latest updates on last night's dramatic events in Escambia County involve a drive-by shooting, a high-speed pursuit, and a desperate bridge jump.

A 70-year-old woman is fighting for her life after being shot in the neck during the drive-by shooting. 

She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where medical staff are doing everything possible to stabilize her condition.

Authorities have arrested 19-year-old Jaquaris Ethridge, who now faces charges of murder and attempted murder.

Another suspect, 22-year-old Trevion Moton, died from injuries he sustained after jumping from a bridge in a desperate attempt to evade law enforcement during the high-speed chase that followed the shooting.
