Emily passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 39, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, service, and profound impact.

Born on April 8, 1985, in Roy, Utah, Emily was known from an early age for her nurturing spirit and desire to help others. 

This calling led her to pursue a career in nursing, where she could make a tangible difference in the lives of those around her. 

She graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Emily’s professional journey was marked by her unwavering dedication to her patients. She worked at various healthcare facilities in the West Haven area, earning a reputation as a skilled and compassionate practitioner. 

Her patients and colleagues admired her for her empathy, expertise, and tireless work ethic. 

Emily’s approach to healthcare was holistic, ensuring that her patients received not only medical treatment but also emotional support and guidance.

Beyond her professional life, Emily was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. She married her high school sweetheart, David Haynes, and together they built a loving home with their two children, Ethan and Lily. 

Emily’s family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She enjoyed family outings, baking with her children, and volunteering at their school events.

Emily was also an active member of her community and church, always willing to lend a helping hand.

A memorial service to honor Emily Haynes’ life will be held on July 12, 2024, at the West Haven Community Church. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association, reflecting Emily’s lifelong commitment to promoting health and wellness.
