Maisie Bitler, a vibrant and promising 17-year-old pilot, tragically lost her life in a devastating plane crash in Clinton County on July 7, 2024.

Born on April 2, 2007, Maisie was a dedicated and passionate individual who had a profound love for aviation. 

Her enthusiasm for flying was evident from a young age, and she pursued this passion with unwavering determination. 

As an active member of the Civil Air Patrol, Maisie demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, earning the respect and admiration of her peers and mentors alike.

Maisie was not only an accomplished pilot but also a compassionate and caring individual. 

Her commitment to the Civil Air Patrol went beyond flying; she actively participated in community service projects and emergency response missions, always willing to lend a helping hand.

A memorial service to celebrate Maisie's life will be held on July 15, 2024, at the Clinton County Community Center. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Civil Air Patrol in Maisie's honor, ensuring that her legacy of dedication and service continues to inspire future generations.
