Obituary, Death: Jayden Clark Salem IN Death - Goose Nest Craig Clark Son Passed Away From An Accidental Fall

The community of Salem, Indiana, is in deep mourning following the tragic and untimely death of Jayden Clark, the beloved son of Craig Clark, affectionately known as Goose Nest Craig. 


Jayden, only 17 years old, passed away on July 17, 2024, as a result of an accidental fall.

Jayden was a vibrant young man with a bright future ahead of him. Born on October 14, 2006, in Salem, he was known for his infectious smile, kind heart, and adventurous spirit. 

As a student at Salem High School, Jayden was admired by his peers and teachers alike for his dedication, enthusiasm, and positive attitude. 

He was an active participant in school activities, excelling in both academics and sports.

Jayden's love for the outdoors was well-known to everyone who knew him. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, and spending time in nature with his family and friends. 

His adventurous nature was a reflection of his father Craig, who shared a special bond with Jayden through their many outdoor escapades. 

They often explored the beautiful landscapes of Indiana, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

The tragic accident that took Jayden's life has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire Salem community. 

His passing is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of treasuring every moment with loved ones.

Jayden is survived by his parents, Craig and Lisa Clark, his younger sister Emily, and a large extended family who loved him dearly. 

The Clark family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and love from the community during this incredibly difficult time.

A memorial service to celebrate Jayden's life will be held at the Salem High School gymnasium on July 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects. 

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a scholarship fund established in Jayden's name to support other young adventurers in pursuing their dreams.

Jayden Clark's spirit, kindness, and love for life will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jayden. You will be deeply missed.
