Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Adds Braze Rucker to Most Wanted List: Armed and Dangerous Felony Suspect Connected to Trooper Shooting; Public Urged to Report Any Sightings Immediately

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has added Braze Rucker to its Most Wanted list, following his connection to a recent shooting incident involving a state trooper.

Rucker, who is considered armed and dangerous, is now a top priority for law enforcement agencies across the state.

The TBI has issued a high-priority alert, urging the public to report any sightings or information related to Rucker’s whereabouts immediately.

Braze Rucker is wanted in connection with a violent altercation on July 19, 2024, in which he allegedly shot a Tennessee state trooper during a routine traffic stop.

The incident occurred in the Memphis area, where Rucker reportedly opened fire on the officer before fleeing the scene.

The trooper, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, is currently receiving medical care, and the search for Rucker has been intensified to bring him into custody.

Rucker is described as a 35-year-old male with a notable criminal history, including previous felony convictions. He is believed to be armed and may pose a significant threat to both law enforcement and the public.

The TBI has emphasized the importance of caution when approaching Rucker and has warned that he should not be approached directly.

Instead, they encourage anyone with information to contact local law enforcement immediately or call the TBI’s tip line.

The TBI has released a detailed description of Rucker, including his physical appearance, clothing, and any distinguishing features that may aid in his identification.

Additionally, they have distributed photographs and details about the vehicle he may be using, which is crucial for tracking his movements.

Community assistance has been vital in previous cases, and law enforcement officials are hopeful that public awareness and vigilance will lead to Rucker’s swift apprehension.

The TBI and local law enforcement agencies are working diligently to locate Rucker and ensure justice for the injured trooper and the community.
