Victoria Ledford Obituary: Tragedy in Wyoming County as North Carolina Woman Dies in Fatal ATV Crash in the Herndon Area

A heart-wrenching incident occurred on Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Herndon, Wyoming County, West Virginia, when a 41-year-old woman from Mount Holly, North Carolina, Victoria Ledford, tragically lost her life in a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident. 



The devastating event was reported by the West Virginia State Police. The accident took place at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, prompting a swift response from Cpl. M.C. Shifflette of the Jesse Detachment, who arrived at the scene in the Herndon area.

Born on April 5, 1983, Victoria was known for her vibrant spirit and adventurous nature. She grew up in Mount Holly, North Carolina, where she developed a love for outdoor activities from a young age. 

Victoria was an avid ATV rider, finding joy and excitement in exploring rugged terrains and enjoying the beauty of nature.
