14-Year-Old Mia Dumas Missing from Peabody: Community Urged to Help

The Peabody community is rallying together in response to the distressing news that 14-year-old Mia Dumas has been reported missing. Mia, a student at Peabody High School, was last seen leaving her home on the morning of August 1, 2024, and has not been heard from since. Her sudden disappearance has sparked a widespread search effort and heightened concern among family, friends, and local residents.

Mia is described as a bright and energetic teenager with a close-knit circle of friends and a strong connection to her family. 

She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes. On the day she went missing, Mia was wearing a blue hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. 

Her disappearance is considered highly unusual, as she had no known issues or conflicts that might have led to her leaving voluntarily.

The Peabody Police Department has launched an extensive search operation, deploying officers and resources to locate Mia and ensure her safe return. 

The department is working closely with local organizations and volunteers who are distributing flyers and canvassing neighborhoods in hopes of gathering any leads that might assist in the investigation.

Community members are urged to be vigilant and report any information that might help in locating Mia. 

The Peabody Police have set up a dedicated hotline for tips and are encouraging anyone who might have seen Mia or has any information about her whereabouts to come forward.
