Robert "Bob" Fuller, a distinguished director at UWM and a proud Central Michigan University (CMU) graduate, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Pontiac, Michigan. He was 55 years old. Bob’s passing followed a courageous battle with a long-term illness, which he faced with remarkable resilience and grace.
Born and raised in Pontiac, Bob was a deeply rooted member of his community.
After completing his undergraduate studies at CMU, where he earned a degree in Business Administration, Bob went on to build a notable career in higher education administration.
His professional journey culminated in his role as a director at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), where he was known for his exceptional leadership and dedication to student success.
At UWM, Bob played a pivotal role in numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing student services and academic programs.
His innovative approaches and commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment made a significant impact on the university and its students.
Colleagues and students alike admired Bob for his ability to inspire and motivate, as well as his unwavering dedication to improving the academic experience.
Outside of his professional life, Bob was a devoted family man and an active member of his community.
