Farnk Vickers, a 48-year-old resident of Boardman, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 20th, 2024, following a devastating incident at the Rudzick Excavating worksite in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. 


His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the community and raised significant concerns about workplace safety.

Born on February 5, 1976, in Boardman, Ohio, Frank was a dedicated husband to his wife, Sarah, and a loving father to his two children, Emily and Jacob. 

He was known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to providing for his family.

Frank had been employed at Rudzick Excavating for over ten years, where he worked as a skilled heavy equipment operator. 

He took pride in his work and was respected by his colleagues for his expertise and reliability.

The circumstances surrounding Frank's death are currently under investigation by federal authorities and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), amidst concerns over safety violations and the company's troubling history. 

The Beaver County Coroner’s Office has confirmed Frank's identity, although the exact cause of his death has not been disclosed pending further investigation.

Frank will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues at Rudzick Excavating. 

He is survived by his wife, Sarah, his children, Emily and Jacob, his parents, David and Margaret Vickers, and his siblings, Mark and Jennifer.

A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at St. Peter's Church in Boardman, Ohio, followed by a private burial service for family members. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Safety Council to support workplace safety initiatives in Frank's memory.
