 Joseph D. Bowers, lovingly referred to as "Jyk Twogweatthetop," was an Indianapolis native whose vibrant spirit and zest for life were well-known to those around him. 

At the tender age of thirty, Joseph had already made a significant impact on the lives of many, and his sudden and untimely death has left a void that words cannot adequately describe.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Joseph was a beacon of joy and positivity in his community. 

Known for his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness, he was a friend to many and a stranger to none. 

His nickname, "Jyk Twogweatthetop," reflected his unique personality and his determination to always strive for the best in every situation.

He was a dedicated professional, a loving son, and a loyal friend. His passions included music, where he excelled as an amateur DJ, and sports, particularly basketball, where he was known for his impressive skills on the court.

Tragically, Joseph's life was cut short in an act of senseless violence. On an early Saturday morning, while outside a nightclub in Louisville, Joseph was killed in a terrible incident that has left his family and friends in profound grief. 

The loss of such a promising and vibrant young man is a reminder of the fragility of life and the impact of violence on our communities.

Joseph is survived by his parents, siblings, and a large extended family, all of whom are devastated by his passing. 

They remember him as a loving, caring individual whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
