Michael Wayne Morgan, 43, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, leaving a profound sense of loss among his family, friends, and community. Known for his vibrant spirit and dedication to his passions, Michael's life was marked by both professional success and personal fulfillment.


Born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, Michael attended North Pitt High School, where he was known for his enthusiasm and dedication. 

After graduating, he pursued a career that allowed him to combine his love for travel with his work ethic. 

Michael traveled extensively across the country, hauling Grady White boats, a profession that not only showcased his commitment but also his adventurous spirit. 

His work took him to many places, but he always carried a piece of his hometown pride with him, whether he was on the road or at home.

Michael’s love for the outdoors and boating was matched only by his devotion to his family. 

He was a supportive and loving husband to his wife, Sarah Morgan, and a devoted father to their two children, Ethan and Lily. 

His family describes him as a man of unwavering kindness, a joyful presence at family gatherings, and a source of strength and inspiration.

Outside of work, Michael was actively involved in his local community. He volunteered with several organizations, lending his time and resources to various causes. 

His contributions were always appreciated, and his generosity extended to everyone he met. 

He was known for his warm smile, his willingness to help others, and his ability to make people feel at ease.

A Celebration of Life for Michael Wayne Morgan will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. at John Paul II Catholic High School. 

In honor of Michael's memory, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity or community organization, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others and making a positive impact. 

Michael's legacy of kindness, generosity, and dedication will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
