Brock Pounders, a 29-year-old resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 49 on August 2, 2024. His untimely death has left his family, friends, and the Fayetteville community in profound mourning.

The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Brock's vehicle veered off the road and struck a barrier. 

Emergency responders arrived at the scene quickly, but despite their efforts, Brock was pronounced dead upon their arrival. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, with authorities examining factors such as road conditions and vehicle performance.

Brock Pounders was known for his dedication and warmth. He worked as a project manager at a local construction firm, where he was appreciated for his strong work ethic and positive attitude. 

Colleagues describe him as a reliable and enthusiastic team member who brought a sense of camaraderie and professionalism to the workplace.

Outside of work, Brock was an active member of his community. He enjoyed outdoor activities, particularly hiking and fishing, and was known for his involvement in local charity events. 

His friends and family remember him as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand and who had a knack for bringing people together.

Brock is survived by his parents, Susan and David Pounders, and his younger sister, Emily. 

His family and friends are deeply grieving his loss and finding solace in the memories they shared with him. 

A memorial service to honor Brock’s life will be held on August 9, 2024, at the Fayetteville Community Center. 

The service will be an opportunity for those who knew Brock to come together, share their grief, and celebrate the life of a young man whose presence will be sorely missed. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to a local charity in Brock's name, reflecting his lifelong commitment to giving back to the community he loved.
