Lillian Burry, you were always a great supporter and friend of Brookdale Community College, and Heather and I were so privileged to have you and Don Burry in our lives. We are so saddened to hear of your passing and we will miss you dearly.

Your commitment to education and to the students and staff at Brookdale was truly remarkable. You believed deeply in the power of learning and tirelessly advocated for opportunities that would help others succeed. 

Whether it was through your active involvement in college events, your generous donations, or simply your warm and welcoming spirit, you always made everyone feel valued and supported. 

Your passion for making a difference was evident in everything you did, and your support helped shape the future of countless students and programs.

Heather and I will always remember the times we shared together—conversations filled with wisdom, laughter, and genuine kindness. 

Your friendship was a gift, and your presence brought joy and inspiration to those around you. You had a way of making everyone feel special, and your positive influence touched many lives. 

We are deeply saddened by your passing, and our hearts go out to Don and your entire family during this difficult time.
