Arden Assee, a cherished member of the Indiana community, has passed away under tragic and mysterious circumstances. His untimely death has left the entire community in mourning. Arden, 42, was born on April 17, 1982, in Bloomington, Indiana. 


Known for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends, Arden's disappearance and subsequent death have deeply impacted those who knew him.

Arden grew up in Bloomington, where he attended Bloomington High School North. He was an exceptional student, excelling in academics and sports, particularly basketball. 

Arden’s talent on the court earned him a scholarship to Indiana University, where he continued to shine both academically and athletically. 

He graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and went on to work for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, where he dedicated his career to preserving the state's natural beauty.

Arden was not only a dedicated professional but also a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura, and their two children, Emma and Jack. 

Arden was a supportive and caring husband, always putting his family's needs before his own. 

As a father, he was deeply involved in his children's lives, attending every soccer game, school play, and family event.

The circumstances surrounding Arden's disappearance were distressing. He was last seen on June 30, 2024, and despite extensive search efforts by local authorities and community volunteers, he remained missing for several days. 

On July 8, Arden's body was discovered in a remote area of Brown County State Park. 

The cause of death is still under investigation, adding to the grief and uncertainty faced by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Bloomington, where friends, family, and community members will gather to honor Arden's life and legacy.
