Michele Craft, a cherished resident of Lancaster, PA, tragically passed away at the age of 65. On the somber morning of July 7, 2024, Michele took her own life by jumping off the New Holland Pike Bridge onto Route 30, a heartbreaking event that has left her family, friends, and the community in profound sorrow.


Born on March 3, 1959, Michele was a loving mother and grandmother whose life was defined by her deep affection for her family and her unwavering commitment to their well-being. 

She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the ability to light up any room with her infectious smile. 

Michele's compassionate nature extended beyond her family, as she often volunteered her time to help those in need within her community, exemplifying her selfless and caring disposition.

Michele’s journey was marked by a profound love for her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. 

Her nurturing presence and unwavering support created a foundation of love and security for her family. 

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.

A memorial service to honor Michele’s life will be held on July 15, 2024, at the Lancaster Community Church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a mental health charity of choice, in hopes of helping others who may be struggling.
